So I’ve felt a little defeated.

• Car is totaled.
• Broke as a joke.
• Perpetually loathing my job.
• Can’t seem to find a new one.
• Can’t go Christmas shopping in a timely fashion. (see line 2.)
• My laundry pile could suffocate approximately two humans.
• My bird hates me and everyone in this world.

But…I have to say that while the real world has been graciously kicking my ass, I’ve felt very loved and supported by everyone. My parents are nothing short of saints, my boyfriend is Superman, and my best friend is Miranda, Samantha, Charlotte and Carrie combined.

Now that my moment of gratuity has taken place, it’s time for a night of cozy new pj’s, hot chocolate, knee-high socks and cuddling with my man.
